Business Sector Leader- Health and Human Services Product Line

The Business Sector Leader (BSL) is critical to the development and evolution of a cohesive and flexible commercial lines strategy for each sector.  This role will consult with leaders in Westfield's business units in order to identify, design, and help develop the specific products for the Health and Human Services area, and will additionally identify services required to attract the best customers in this segment.    At the core of the position is the ability to champion the focus and discipline that is required in order to succeed in the designated segment(s).  The BSL will assume the role of "Accountability Leader" in the organization with regard to the designated programs designed and developed for his/her sector.

;Qualified candidates for this position will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a business management focus. Prefer industry designation (CPCU, ARM, and CIC)
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience in commercial insurance or industry related risk management functions with specific experience dealing with coverage for Professional Liability and Directors and Officers insurance risk.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of tolerance for matrix management, building consensus in a complex organization.  Should exhibit high degree of autonomy and independent thinking taking into careful consideration the needs of peers and business customers.
  • Ability to travel as needed
